Animals in the Windows

>> Wednesday, November 1, 2017

Some new Holiday Images will be available this weekend and one is this adorable little Santa Puppy.  I love his sad eyes.  I used the Merry Christmas especially to You Greeting.

Inside, I used a new greeting called Heartache at Christmas Greeting and it says:

Remember the love at this time of year
Keep in your heart the one you hold dear
Remember the joy of holidays past
The Heartache you feel won't always last
Thinking of you this Christmas.

Such a great greeting to go with this sweet little puppy in the window.  I used acetate behind the die cut window and then covered the whole thing with a sprinkling of Snowtex.

I actually went with the window theme on my first card after I made this fun card for a recent challenge on Splitcoast Stampers.  My inspiration was the weekly Featured Stamper from a few weeks ago, Forest Ranger, and the Inspiration Challenge this past week which was the Jellycat sight.  I was inspired by some soft baby books featuring animals.
To complete this card, I stamped Jimbo and the Gang, Leonard the Pig's Dance of Joy, Skippy the Penguin, and Monster Hugs Greeting.  I colored them all up with Prisma Pencils.

Hope your week is going well.
