Cowboy Boots Christmas

>> Wednesday, July 26, 2017

You know how I like to do surgery on an image, and I did some serious surgery on my card today!

I cut a BUNCH of boots from the new Lasso Cowgirl plus some lassos (to use as my rope twined around in the wreath.  I cut out a bunch of the greenery from the Holly Jingle Bells image and glued them together to make the wreath.  Then I did some surgery on two sentiment images to make my sentiment:  Christmas Especially to You and Better in Cowboy Boots.

Such a fun card to make and I have a lot of friends that would love this.

Many hugz,

Nancy

The detail on this card is beyond words! Your fussy cutting and the great idea to make a wreath is fantastic! Awesome card :)

You've outdone yourself with your creativity on this one! I'm curious to know how long all that cutting took :) Love the lasso accent and the frosted window as well as the creative greeting!!

What a fun & creative Christmas wreath! I cannot believe how much cutting you did on this card. How long did this take? I'd have spent days cutting & coloring!! But the result was worth it! 😊

Hello all, I sponged the images in mass so the cutting time was about as long as it would take to color them up - an hour or two in front of the TV while also watching a 2 year old so not daunting! Lol. Hugz

This is awesome, Nancy! Your country wreath is just gorgeous! I'm w/ you...I don't mind fussy cutting at all. Sometimes, you gotta do what you gotta do!
