 Happy Friday!
I hope your week has gone well! My week has been good news, bad news. Good news..I think we found a new house! Yay! Bad news..now I have to start the massive packing. Can I get a collective "groannnnnnnn......"? Pretty sure this is one of those "it's gonna hurt me more than you" and mean it! Where's that magic wand when you really need it?

Have to share a funny story with y'all...as I was typing this post, Hubs was reading me a story about a guy who put a pair of undies over his head & robbed/broke into a dollar store. I said "like a Captain Underpants"? Yep. That's what they're calling him. I burst out laughing. Not at the Captain's chosen head gear (I grew up w/ a brother; I've seen stranger things), but at the picture I had in my head of a guy (w/ underwear mask) rolling out a cart full of stuff. And the bystanders are saying "Gee, he must have got away w/ like $12 worth of stuff!" If everything's a dollar, how much damage could he do?

Anyway, for my card today, I stamped the Daisy Bloom  w/ the blue ink several times, then masked them to stamp just the little daisies from the Daisy Basket  in yellow all around them. After die cutting the turquoise half circle, I stamped the daisies a few time w/ the white ink & heat embossed them w/ white powder. On the bg, I used the lightest BG000 Copic marker to add just a touch of color & on the turquoise, I used the darker BG01 & a white prismacolor pencil to add a hint of color. The greeting was stamped & die cut to add w/ a yellow button I found in my stash.
Here's a look at the inside.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend & Happy 4th of July!

Julie, this is gorgeous. I have tried to figure out how you did some of it - you do the most amazing things with ink and paper. Bright, cheerful and fun - and super pretty. I am going to a retirement dinner tonight and I know she would flip over this. Hugz

Beautiful card Julie! Love the color combo and how you used the small flowers from the daisy basket (incredibly creative!!) for the background!
Good luck on the moving - I do not envy you there ;) and thanks for sharing the Captain Underpants story - my first though was along the same lines "really, a dollar store???" :)
