Circle Scene Thoughts

Happy Friday!
I hope your week has gone well! If you live in the central part of the country, I'm sorry if my card reminds you of the bazillion gallons of rain you've had lately. When it rains, it pours, I guess.

To make my sympathy card, I used a large circle as a reverse mask, a smaller circle as a mask for the moon/sun, and a straight edge piece of paper for a horizon mask then sponged the blues below & red/oranges above. I went back in w/ a white pencil & added some reflection lines then stamped the Silhouette Branch in black & highlighted them w/ a white gel pen. After adding the stitched circle frame, I stamped the greeting & one of the little corner flourishes in 3 corners. After I die cut the whole panel, I sponged on color on the little narrow layer & put it back around the white panel.
Here's a look at the inside.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend & try to stay dry!
Supplies:
ink: Memento tuxedo black, Distress inks broken china, tumbled glass, worn lipstick, ripe persimmon
paper: Staples 110# white
accessories: white Prismacolor pencil, white gel pen,  double stitched rectangle, double stitched circles dies

GORGEOUS!!! I love the colors, layering, techniques, and idea on this, Julie. You have the BEST ideas. Even if I had the ideas you have, I couldn't pull them off like you do. Hugz

This card is just so lovely! The scene in the circle cut out is so serene and I love all the white! Yep, it's been pretty soggy here, but your gorgeous card brightened the day!

So pretty Julie! Great idea using the silhouette branches in the foreground - as well as the white accents on both the water and the leaves!
