 Happy Friday!
I hope your week has gone well! And Happy San Jacinto Day (to my fellow Texans)! San Jacinto was the final battle of the Texas revolution. It's kind of a big deal in TX...in GA, not so much. I do have a number of ancestors who fought in the TX revolution & a few of their names are engraved on the San Jacinto monument. So I guess in keeping w/ the remembrance theme, I have a sympathy card to share today.

The pussy willows were stamped w/ Memento olive grove onto the sage green panel & I used a combo of Prismacolor pencils & white Permapaque marker to color it in. The greeting (new!) was stamped beside it w/ the same ink & I used a white gel pen to highlight some of the letters.

A narrow brown layer & a larger, lighter sage green layer finish it. Here's a look at the inside.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!
Supplies:
stamps: DRS Designs - Thoughts are with You, Brush Pussy Willow (inside- Praying for Comfort)
ink: Memento olive grove
paper: Staples 110# white, sage, brown, lt sage
accessories: Prismacolor pencils, white Permapaque marker, white gel pen, Misti, double stitched rectangle dies

What a beautiful sympathy card Julie! Love the dimension the white highlights bring to both the pussy willows and the greeting. The stitched are the perfect background too!
