Over the Hill Two Times

>> Wednesday, March 8, 2017

After reading the new Over the Hill Greeting, I realized I may never be over the hill!  I am so tired, I know I can't climb any hills!

I also used the Tired Walking Woman and  broken flower fence images on this card.  She is walking right past that hill an doesn't even see it.

My other card today is a perfect example of what happens when you design cards in your head when you are tired!  I planed this whole card out and put it together and then realized it looks like the cowboys already went over the hill.  Surely whomever receives it will be too tired to notice!

For this page, I used the Over the Hill Greeting, the Wood Grain background, the Designer Quilt Square, and the Cowboy Silhouette images. I love how the squares came out - wouldn't this make a great quilt?

Hope you are not too tired to climb hills!  LOL.

Hugz,

Nancy

These are wonderful! I love the exhausted lady and the sky and hill you created :). Super creative to use the sentiment for for a guy card too!

So FUN! I love that she's got her back to the hill - she just can't do it! Perfect pairing of stamps and execution!
Now, when it comes to the cowboys.... Duh...I never thought to make a man's card using the over the hill greeting - you're a genius!! But here's where I can help you (I hope :) The cowboys are actually riding in whichever direction you want them too. Depending on the card, I sometimes see them riding toward me (I wish!!) and sometimes they riding away. They're kinda flexible that way!!

These are wonderful, Nancy! That poor woman looks exhausted! Love the hill/fence line behind her. The cowboy card is fabulous. You did an amazing job on the bg.
