Happy Friday & Happy St. Patrick's Day!
I hope your week has gone well! Since today is the 'wearin' o' the green day, I have one last shamrock card to share. This is another of those, may look simple but there's a lot going on cards. After I read the details of the Technique Challenge on Splitcoast on Monday, I thought I'd give it a try. Basically, you just die cut some shapes or letters & use them as a mask on your project. I have a set of little shamrock dies in 3 sizes so I die cut them each several times & used temporary adhesive to stick them randomly over my background. You can sponge or spray or brayer over your bg, & decided to use some sprays. I used a couple of greens & a gold. It's hard to see in the pic above, but in the close up below, you can see it a bit. It's really pretty in real life.
On the smaller square, I used the negative part of the die cuts..the part w/ the shamrock holes in it & sprayed thru it. Then I put it into my Misti (I highly recommend doing this on sprayed bg), & stamped the Irish blessing two or three times w/ the Versafine to get good coverage. Then I temporarily attached the square on top of the bg & stamped the tall shamrocks. After removing the square, I stamped them again (I really only wanted the stems). The shamrocks themselves were stamped again on white, colored & fussy cut to add to the stems. The edges of both panels were sponged w/ the mowed lawn ink.

Here's a look at the inside. I attached a few of the sprayed shamrock masks. Couldn't let those go to waste, lol. Below it are the Copics I used for the shamrocks.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great St. Patrick's Day!
