Snowdrifts through the trees

>> Sunday, January 8, 2017

Hello, everyone we had out first snow of the year, we got 4 whole inches that's a lot of snow for us. It just beautiful with the sun shinning so bright . So I had to make a snow card.

I keep is simple not a lot of coloring. To start I stamped the Christmas Village Gazebo  then masked and stamped the Pine Tree Snowdrifts . I die cut the frame and trees from kraft cs and used Copic Opaque White and a old tooth brush to spatter the front.and added two litter cardinals.

On the inside I use the Baby it's Cold Outside. It was stamped in black and I used a white glaze pen for the highlights and two more little red birds.

Here is a look at our beautiful snow.

Have a wonderful day,

Janett, this is one gorgeous card! Love the Kraft & white color combo. The touch of red from the cardinals is fabulous. Love this! Glad you got some snow to enjoy!

I love your birch trees and birds!!! I love the kraft frame for your snowy card! Looks so beautiful with your snowy home picture to go with!! We STILL have not had our first snow! We had about 5 inches of rain over this weekend though! Lucky we live in the mtns or it would have flooded (as it probably did in the valley below!)
Beautiful card!

Your card looks just like the outdoor photo! I love that you took inspiration from your surroundings :) The pop of red on the birds is so lovely and I just adore the little gazebo behind those trees! Stay warm :)

We almost got snow this weekend - we were 40 miles away! I think it is supposed to be in the 70's later this week - urgh. Your card is gorgeous, Janett. Love the way that gazebo looks and your trees and snow are so fun! Great scene - one of my fave cards I have seen you make! Your yard looks awesome, btw. Hugz

How pretty, Janett! Love the birches & little gazebo. Your backyard looks a LOT like my backyard! When the sun hit the snow, it pretty much melted but there are still shady spots & areas on the deck that have ice.
