Love is in the Air

Good morning!

I have some Valentines for you today...it's coming up!!
I used a panel that I had previously made with Dylusions Ink sprays on foil, sprayed with water then dunked.  I can see that a few sprinkles of salt were added before it dried.
I cut the panel to 4 X 5 1/4" then border punched the bottom, added a thin black ribbon and bow and glued it to a black card.
Next I stamped the Loved You Yesterday Greeting 906G using my Misti (so that I could restamp until very black).  On a separate piece of scrap that I cut off my panel, I stamped the Filigree Hearts 559E and then cut them out and glued them to my card.
Since my background panel was already done and dry, this was a very quick and easy card to make.

My second card was also made with pre-made backgrounds...I have a huge stash of backgrounds that I made.
I used two different ones this time but the colors coordinate well.
I stamped Amazing LOVE puzzle 1130L with my Misti on the first panel and then used my stamp aligner to stamp the Small Hanging Hearts 905A below the puzzle.  I used a pen to extend just the middle set.
On the next panel I stamped the Amazing Valentine's Day Greeting 002D and colored in the Amazing.
I made a frame to pop up from My Favorite Things Stitched Frames.
For the easel to work, you need something to keep it open so in this case my popped up frame works for that.
It closes down flat to a 4 1/4 X 5 1/5" size.  Easy to mail.
I hope you got some ideas today.
Time to get makin your Valentines!

Thanks for visiting!

Incredible backgrounds Robin!!! Love both cards - it's the scallops at the bottom of the first one and the hanging hearts from the love maze that really grab me!

Robin, the background on the first is so wonderful - great colors and patterns. Such a pretty card. The second one is just as pretty and I really like how you did the hearts - I have got to try that. Hugz
