Frosty Wishes

>> Wednesday, December 28, 2016

I sure hope all your Christmas dreams came through and that you were able to do some fun winter activities like making snow angels, building snowmen, sledding, skiing, and ice skating.  Those things seem so fun to me because we don't get to do any of those things here in Central Alabama due to our mild winters.  I made a frosty card today using some new DRS Design Stamps and some Snowtex.

I did the card base by stenciling on some Snowtex (heavy in some spots and not so much in others.  Then I flecked on some more to make it look frosty.  On my sentiment panel, I stamped the Girl Swirl Heart lightly on the edges in Versamark and then chalked the panel with some tan chalk.  The versamark made the swirls lightly appear. Then I stamped on the new Baby It is cold outside image.  On the skates, I stamped the Ice Skates image, fussy cut it, and glittered them up with Stickles.

Many hugz,

Nancy

This is beautiful, Nancy! Your stenciled bg looks wonderful & I adore the sparkly skates. I wish it was cold outside..usually we have more of a winter & snow at least 2 or 3 times. I guess there's still Jan & Feb to go thru.
