Christmas Fun

>> Wednesday, December 14, 2016

I ran across the cutest sketch on Splitcoaststampers.com last week - it was for the sketch challenge.  It was a left and right panel, a square in the middle, and 5 circles of various sizes.  I just couldn't get it out my head so this week's card is using that sketch.  I flipped the panels to be up and down and made my circles a bit larger plus I added a sentiment on top of the middle panel.

I used the new Christmas Light String and the very popular Woven Plaid stamps to make my base panels, and I sponged the plaid with CTMH Willow ink which I also sponged around everything on this card.  Next I stamped the Silent Night Sheet Music image for my square panel and added the new All is Calm Christmas Greeting.  Making the circles was easy with the Christmas Village Four in One Accessories and Christmas Village Tree Store stamps.

I splashed some water on my sheet music to add more interest and distress it a bit.

Super fun card to make - reminds me I need to get my Christmas Tree up fast!!!
