All is Calm, All is Bright

>> Monday, December 5, 2016

Hi Everyone, I have two fairly easy and quick cards to share with you today. Things are getting rather busy around here, so I'm finding quick and easy is best. :-)

My first card features our winged angel, and the Silent Night greeting as well as the new all is Calm greeting. I really like that the fonts match on these greetings so you can use them together. I stamped everything with VersaMark ink onto navy CS and heat embossed with gold embossing powder, then layered it onto gold shimmer CS. Some gold twine was added before attaching everything to the navy card base.

My second card using the same sentiments, but this time they are paired with the large filigree star image using silver embossing powder and some silver CS that is almost mirror like. I apologize for the picture. I could not get a very clear one.

These would be good cards to mass produce, which I might be needing to do. We'll see.  Hope you are further ahead with your Christmas cards than I am. Be sure to check out DRS Designs' online store for all the latest holiday images.

Thanks for stopping by,
shelia

Both of these are so pretty, Shelia! I love gold & silver embossing on dark blue. It's so elegant & eye catching.

Lovely cards! Embossing is what got me hooked on stamping :) It's like magic watching it happen and the end result is always stunning!

I'm a sucker for embossing and these cards have me itching to do a little myself! Love that you used the 2 sentiments together!
