Joy Jingle Bells

by Julie Warner - The Write Stuff

I hope you had a very Happy Thanksgiving & now we're on to Christmas! My Christmas card today was fairly quick. These lovely new Holly Jingle Bells were stamped onto pine green card stock, I used Prismacolor pencils to color them, then over stamped them & die cut. I really like the look of pencils on dark card stock.  The large white panel was stamped first w/ just the Joy using little red & green Memento inks then I used an embossing folder.
The big J & Y & snowflake were die cut then sponged on the lower half. I added little snowflakes on top of the O's on the red & green Joys.

Here's a look at the inside.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

Supplies:
stamps: DRS Designs - Holly Jingle Bells, Joy to You (inside- Snow Bg, 1 Line Merry Christmas)
paper: Staples 110# white, pine green
ink: Memento tuxedo black, northern pine, love letter, new sprout
accessories: Prismacolor pencils, Misti, Spellbinders A2 matting basics A & B, MFT Stitched Arch die, knit embossing folder, Snowflake Reverse die

Wow - love the embossing and that coloring on dark paper - I just watched a tutorial on that and plan to try it soon. The sketch you used on this is just perfect. Another fab card, my friend. Hugz
