Christmas Rooftops

by Julie Warner - The Write Stuff

Happy Friday!
I hope your week has gone well! Almost Turkey Time! I hope the turkeys that come thru our yard are hiding out somewhere or at least disguised as something else...you know like the deer w/ their Groucho glasses on that commercial. Last year we had about 7..this year I counted 11. It's kind of funny to see them all crowded around under the bird feeder or under the trees. Here's a pic I got of some of them around a tree near the bird feeder.
Then for some reason, they all headed around the corner of the house (to the right) & strolled single file across the cul de sac to a neighbor's house. Kind of like a school fire drill.
Any way, I have a Christmas card today using a brand spanking new image. Aren't those rooftops cute?
After stamping & coloring them, I added a little white gel pen for snow then die cut it to fit into a long rectangle window. The snow bg was stamped in silver on all of the layers & heat embossed w/ some transparent glitter ep. I made sure to leave an area to add the new greeting then stamped, colored & fussy cut the Christmas lamp post to add on top.

Here's a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend & a Happy Thanksgiving!

I just knew you would WOW me with this new rooftop stamp and you did! Love the layout/colors and you picked the perfect greetings to go with it - both inside and out!

As for turkeys.... I used to get one that would fly over my 4' fence every now and again and it would take him forever to figure out how to get out. Would drive the dog crazy - I think he wanted to play ;)
