Christmas Bells

>> Saturday, November 19, 2016

Good morning!
I love the new release Jingle Bells!!
They are so fun to color.

I have another bump card for you today.  This time it is using a piece of cardstock 11" X 4 1/4"
I used my sentiment to act as a closure again on this card.

I've used DRS stamps 613P Woven Plaid, new release Jingle Bells and new release Happy Holly Days for this card.
I also used My Favorite Things Stitched Circle and Stitched Rectangle, Memory Box Stitched Bump Borders and foam tape to complete.
It is very simple but I love how it opens and closes with the sentiment tucking in, holding it closed.
You can put a nice size sentiment inside as well and a note to your friend or family member.
Do you have all your Christmas cards made?  Well, you still have a few weeks so I hope we here at DRS are giving you some more idea.

This second card is just in time to hand deliver to your hostess for Thanksgiving (or anyone).
I've used DRS 637E Thanksgiving Blessings to make this card
along with a wreath die set from Cottage Cutz, burlap, twine and pearls.
I used a stitched rectangle die from My Favorite Things for the sentiment.
I have some kraft corrugated card stock in my stash that I used as well.
I die cut the wreath 3 times for extra filler. Die cut the leaves in orange, yellow and rust and the acorns in tan and brown.
After everything was cut I started assembly. I cut small squares of burlap and pinched then together in the middle like with a napkin fold then used glue to stick them into my wreath.
Punched holes in the sentiment panel and strung twine through the holes.
Fast and simple!

Thanks for visiting today!
Robin
