Stamp Your Own Background!

>> Monday, October 10, 2016

This week's challenge at DRS Designs is to stamp your own background. DRS designs has fabulous background stamps that make it easy to create your own backgrounds. My card today doesn't use one of the background stamps. Instead I used the silhouette leaf stamp and Hero Arts Ombre ink to create my background.

I inked up the leaf image and randomly stamped all over the cream CS. Once that was done, I used the leaf outline image to stamp around the leaves in Memento Cocoa ink to give them more definition. The greeting was stamped with the same Cocoa ink onto cream CS. The leaf outline image was stamped over the greeting and then I die cut this panel and layered it on another die cut panel. These were attached to the leafy background panel and then onto an orange panel before attaching everything to the cream card base.

Hope you can play along with us this week!!

Thanks for stopping by,
shelia

How pretty! I love how you colored your leaf background and the sentiment is the perfect choice :)

Your background is so pretty and the added leaf over the greeting is the perfect touch.
