Family Reunion

>> Saturday, September 3, 2016

Good morning!!
Continuing with the self portrait theme, I've done a family reunion portrait.

I used DRS stamps: 960E Boo-tiful halloween and 1046K Ghost Family Portrait for this card along with a brick embossing folder for the background (sponged with Pearlescent Purple Brilliance ink) and a die frame from My Favorite Things and also a Stitched Rectangle die from ODBD. the white glossy card between the two black frames was sponged with the Brilliance inks in Pearlescent Purple and Sky Blue.  The black frames are popped up.
I stamped the ghost family, colored then cut out the top part so that I could put them against the white brick wall., it has a slight purple cast to it. The ghosties has some green aura coming from them as well...we all remember Ghost Busters right?  These are totally friendly ghost though...never any mischief! LOL! I'm not sure whose laundry they raided but it is colorful...they must have cold feet!
To give a bit more interest, I added the purple buttons and green Baker's twine.
the sentiment was cut in half and then cut in the shape of the words, outlined in green and sponged with the purple color in the middle just to make it a bit different.
Have a great weekend and keep on stampin!
Thanks for visiting,
Robin

I love this, Robin! The little ghosts in front of the brick wall are so fun. Love the colors & buttons around the frame. That's a lot of super fussy cutting!
