Red White and Blue

>> Tuesday, June 28, 2016

Hi Everyone,

In honor of the upcoming Fourth of July holiday, I made a simple patriotic card to share with you. It had to be a quick and easy one, because when Independence Day is wrapped around a weekend, it means
twice as many picnics and cookouts :)

I used a neutral kraft card stock for the base and layered it with a dark blue and white embossed card stock for the background.  I used double sided sticky taped along with some red, silver and blue super fine glitter to make the patriotic stripes. The As a Nation Greeting was stamped and heat embossed, before I die cut and layered it using a square Spellbinders die.

To finish it off I added 3 red gemstone hearts.  See? They're not just for Valentine's Day! wink ;)

Until I see you again, I hope you have a safe and happy holiday!
