Rainbow Stripes

Happy Friday!
I hope your week has gone well! When I was making my card for yesterday's challenge using this Lg. Original Plaid image (it's still just a stripe on my card..like Sesame St. "but today I am still just a bill"), I thought I'd use it for this card, too. I had the textured paper strip left over from something, so I sponged a bunch of colors of Distress inks across it then stamped the plaid/stripe all the way down. I love rainbows of color and I really like how it turned out.
After I attached it to a large white panel, I die cut it & added it to a slightly larger black panel. I also love the way this greeting looks so I'm using it on a birthday card (instead of graduation).  A little color was added inside the loops & big butterfly finishes it.

Here's a look at the inside. I had the white corner L leftover from cutting the front, so I made it into another rainbow strip.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend!
Supplies:
stamps: DRS Designs - Lg. Original Plaid, Dream Big,  (inside - Birthday Wish)
ink: Versafine onyx, Distress inks squeezed lemonade, carved pumpkin, ripe persimmon, worn lipstick, candy apple, shaded lilac, wilted violet, salty ocean, mermaid lagoon, twisted citron, mowed lawn
paper: white, white linen, black
accessories: multi butterfly punch, ODBD butterfly die, Spellbinders A2 matting basics A & B, labels 2 (inside) dies, Tombow markers (to color loops in greeting)
