Hi Everyone,

My card today is made to remind you that the current challenge theme on the blog this week is distressing!  If you haven't joined us yet, I hope this inspires you to do so :)

I stamped the main image in Brown Versafine ink, coated it in clear embossing powder and heat set it, before tearing around the fish.  I added a bit of brown ink to the edges as well, to add to the distressed look.

The background was made by roughing up the edges of all the layers, and sending the embossed background though my machine in an inked up embossing folder,


Since the main background sort of  looked like a piece of distressed white washed wood, I added a stamped wood grain panel as well.  Below is the list of stamps I used:

This is terrific, Karin! Wow! Your bg looks so worn & weathered..what guy wouldn't love it? The colors are perfect for a masculine card.
