Easter Balloon Festival

>> Wednesday, March 2, 2016

I lived in Albuquerque until I was 29 and one of the biggest pleasures of living there is the International Balloon Festival.  Balloons come from all over the world and they are in all shapes and sizes.  Giant Mr. Peanut, buildings, cactus, the heads of famous people in history, flags, cartoon characters - some times the balloon is actually in the shape of the item and sometimes it just has it imprinted on it.  It is amazing.  Today, I am doing my attempt at recreating that fun look.

First, I sponged by sky using SU! ink and then I stamped three Hot Air Balloon images.  Next I stamped the new Cute Bunny with Egg image on one of the balloons.  I wanted one balloon to have a bit different shape so I made a parachute balloon using the Umbrella image.  I finished it off with the 1-line Easter Blessings greeting.

Thanks for visiting today.

Hugz,

Nancy
