Charming Valentine

>> Saturday, February 6, 2016

Good morning!
It's Lucky Charms week!
I made the lucky charms with stamps and shrink plastic.
I also used a star die and a shamrock die to make 2 of the charms.  I strung them on white floss and glued them to the frame I made. The bow is made from Linen Seam binding crunched up. I am not sure who makes the zig-zag borders but the other stitched dies are from My Favorite Things.
I stamped colored and cut out/die cut my charms from Shrink Plastic, punched a hole for threading the floss and then used a toaster oven to shrink them.  They turn out about 1/4 of the original size so when you cut them out you need to keep that in mind especially the hole you punch.  If you use a hole punch too small it will be too small to thread when it shrinks.  I used a 1/8" punch, I would not use anything smaller.
My image was made by stamping and masking the little boy then stamping the heart.  It is die cut with the "out of the box" technique on one side.
Have a great weekend!!  Thanks for visiting!
Robin

Such a cute card! I like those charms. Where do you get the shrink plastic to make these? I'd like to try these!
