rainbow of hearts

>> Monday, January 4, 2016

Happy New Year! I don't know about you, but for me, vacation is over and the real world is back! I had a great time with family and friends over the holidays, but now it's back to work and my usual routine. I'm kind of ready for that routine, though I do miss family already! Living far away is not fun!

My card today features DRS Designs' new Small Silhouette heart. I started by drawing a grid and circle with pencil on white CS. Next I stamped the small heart in rainbow colors using the grid and circle for my guide. It wasn't as difficult as I thought it'd be. Once all the hearts were stamped the greeting was stamped with Onyx black ink in the center. I embossed the bottom of the pink panel with some hearts, added the pink baker's twine and the card was complete.

Have you checked out this week's challenge? We'd love to have you play along. You can see details here.

Thanks for stopping by,
shelia

WOW! What a perfect heart circle! I know you said it wasn't as difficult as you'd thought, but I don't know that I'm believing it was anywhere close to easy :) Very impressive!!

Great card, and I know that could not have been that easy to get it so perfect. Beautiful card.

Oh those colored hearts are so cute Shelia! What a great idea to use them in a circle too, that must have taken some work and figuring!!!
Very cute!
