Happy New Year!
Is it too soon to jump ahead to Valentine's Day? I'm usually running behind so I thought I'd get a little head start. If it's too early, here's my New Year card from a couple of weeks ago...just to make you feel timely.
To make my Valentine card, I stamped the 3 hearts on little squares. Then I die cut larger squares out of the white front & backed them with black. They seemed to need a little something, so I die cut little frames out of white & put them on top.
I had the red die cut border on the right already in my stash & I thought it accented the other colors perfectly. The greeting was stamped on another square & backed with a couple of black squares turned on an angle.

Here's a look at the inside.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend & a happy, healthy & prosperous New Year!
Supplies:
paper: white, black, red
ink: Versafine onyx, Memento love letter
accessories: Spellbinders squares, A2 matting basics A & B, bracket border dies

Pretty Valentine Julie! It's so funny, I'm having the hardest time getting my brain wrapped around Valentine's as far as making cards but your card is a super inspiration...maybe I can finally get r done!

2 awesome cards Julie! Love the blues and sparkily silver of the New Years card - and the bold red and black of the Valentine!

Beautiful work, my friend. Both are super elegant and so well done. I can't decide which is my fave as they are both Wow cards. Hugz
