Off to get the Christmas tree

>> Sunday, December 6, 2015

Good morning everyone.
I hope your Christmas preparations are going well. When my kids were little we always went to a Christmas tree farm to get our tree. It was great fun they had hay rides, hot apple cider and my son always cut down our tree. This made great memories that the kids carry on with their families.

With my card I tried to recreate those special memories.

The card base was made using a center step die.
I started by stamping the Christmas Village Tree Store   It was masked then I stamped the Christmas Village Sloped Roof Cottage part of the Christmas Village Pond with Bridge was stamped on the side. Behind the cottage the Pine Tree Snowdrifts were stamped then the snowman from the Christmas Village Four in One Accessories. Everything was colored with Copic markers and Flower Soft was added for the snow.

The smaller of the Double Tall Pines was used on the sides. And the Merry Christmas is from the Christmas Multi Greeting.

 Have a wonderful day

What an awesome idea to use the trees on either side of the main image! I also love the house with the tree lot in front! I was just saying how much I missed those!!
