Star Focused Christmas

>> Wednesday, September 16, 2015

If you are like me, you have a bunch of old ink pads and old sponges just laying around unloved.  I have been digging them out and trying to use them so I can justify buying more.

I have had my SU! Not Quite Navy pad for as long as I have been stamping and I dug it out to make this peaceful Christmas card.

The image is Silent Night with Jesus Star and I stamped it in Memento Black and then sponged the Not Quite Navy all around it.  Next I masked off my hills and added another layer of ink.

I actually did this card over three times originally (I need a Misti!!!), but now that I have it down I plan to make a bunch more for my Christmas card stash.

THis is indeed a beautiful, peaceful Christmas card! Can't believe you did all the sky with only one ink pad! Love the shaded hills too!
