Happy Friday!
I hope your week has gone well! Everybody hot enough yet? How about a little Christmas to try & cool off? I was so busy working on the new DRS images for next week, I forgot I needed a card for today, so mine is a little on the CAS (clean & simple) side. Everything was going pretty quickly until  just after the picture taking part. You see, I have a plastic box w/ all the little flat backed marbles in it. Hundreds of them. Well, it slid off the counter with a mighty crash. I literally lost all my marbles. All over the floor..in the kitchen (where I take the pics), under the fridge, in the dining room, around the corner & down into the living room. Hubs comes running in w/ a panicked look.."what happened?" I'm thinking...kinda obvious. "I don't hear the bird (our parrot, Linus). I think you gave him a heart attack. And I think I wet my pants." Neither had happened. Linus was fine, hubs was dry. It just took me half an hour to pick up all the marbles. There are a few still under the fridge. Oh well. Funny thing, a while back, Samantha (of DRS fame here) asked about those marbles & I sent her a pic. Thank goodness I had that pic, because I couldn't remember what went where. And that's important, lol.
Anyway, for my card, I stamped, colored & fussy cut the little Santa & attached him to a black die cut circle. I die cut the Ho 6 times and stacked 3 on 3 for dimension. The white frame w/ oval cut out was a leftover & since I was hurrying, I used it. I attached them & added thin black strips so they would look like they are hanging. for the narrow background, I stamped the Ho, ho, ho greeting randomly & colored them. Some sequins for sparkle were added at the end. Here are the Copics I used for Santa.
Thanks so much for stopping by! If you haven't, check out the DRS Thursday Challenge...this week, Cause a Scene.

So cute Julie!! Love the hanging Ho Ho Ho's and the black background on Santa! So sorry to hear you lost your marbles though - did you ever think you'd need the picture of them when you took it? Another example of it all working the way it's supposed to!
