I'd Like to Be, Under the Sea!

Happy Friday!
I hope your week has gone well! Now you'll have that song in your head all day, lol. You can thank me later! Are you ready for some more new images? What a pretty little mermaid we have and the seashell foursome is perfect for summer cards. I imagined my little mermaid under the sea w/ a castle in the background and a friendly octopus hanging around. So what do you think? To me it looks like you're peeking through a window into a underwater scene. I stamped the mermaid & octopus first, masked them then stamped the sand castle, sand lines, seaweed, bubbles and splatter (for sand). I added some dots of masking fluid to her tail section so when I colored it, they would stay white. After I was finished, I rubbed it off. I like how it looks like the sparkle of the scales. After I finished coloring everything, I added a large circle frame, the greeting, shells and more sand.
I cut around her tail and a few of the octopus tentacles to slide the edge of the circle frame under. It may be hard to see, but I also added some clear Wink of Stella here & there all over for some sparkle. In real life, it's super sparkly! The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50 and these are the Copics I used.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend!
