Happy Friday!
I hope your week has gone well! My card today began on Monday after I read a challenge on Splitcoast. The challenge was to use hot glue to make a stencil. I've actually used hot glue as embellishment by adding glitter & pearl ex to it while it was still warm, but this was the first time I made a stencil with it. I made the flower design with the hot glue on the glue gun mat. When it cooled (very important! this stuff is HOT!), I peeled it off the mat and placed it on white card stock then sponged the pink & blue inks. I added just a little yellow to the flower centers then decided it needed something so traced around the petals & centers with a black Micron pen.

The umbrella was stamped, colored with Copics and fussy cut. This picture shows the actual hot glue stencil I made and used. I may just use it again! The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50.

paper: white, pink
ink: Memento tuxedo black, Distress Inks in worn lipstick, tumbled glass, squeezed lemonade
accessories: hot glue gun, glue mat, Spellbinders petite oval, A2 matting basics A & B dies, sequins, black Micron pen

Julie, this is so creative! I am amazed you made this stencil out of hot glue! Wow. The colors are so darn pretty and the umbrella is perfect. Great card! Hugz
