Double Umbrella Happiness

Happy Friday!
And a Happy Friday it is! We have had 3 sunny, nice days in a row! May not seem like much unless you know we've had rain & gloom for about 2 weeks straight! I mean we are soggy here. Even the ducks & geese are camping out in the middle of streets to dry off. I heard the Weather Channel say (yeah, I wish they had more weather reports going on there..my opinion, but I think they are the Occasional Skimpy Weather Report Channel) that in this area we've had 53+ days of rain since Jan 1. So I think we NEED 2 umbrellas. And talk about an abundance of bad hair days!

So today along with my favorite umbrella image, I'm also sneaking a peek at a cute little branch with 2 little love birds on it. Aren't they sweet? I stamped them w/ one umbrella above and another below & also an extra one to fussy cut & pop up over them. I used an embossing folder to add the cherry blossom branch. I read somewhere that coral is supposed to be an "in" color this year so I made one umbrella coral and the other aqua because I just like those two colors together.
Then I just thought it needed something...so I got out one of my Micron pens and doodled the vine & flowers/buds in the lower left corner & upper right corner. The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50 and these are the Copics I used.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Please be sure to check out the DRS Thursday Challenge...this week, just use some kind of Flowers on your project. Have a great weekend!

Those are the prettiest "doodles" ever! The entire card is gorgeous and I love the way the umbrella is sheltering those cute little birdies!

What a cute idea to put the umbrella over the birdies :) Love it! Your doodling is making me think we might need a new vine/bud stamp. Hmmmmm.....
