Happy Easter

>> Saturday, March 21, 2015

Good morning!
Decided to use this week's colors for this card.  The colors for the challenge are so Eastery looking!  They work wonderfully!
DRS stamps used: 613P Woven Plaid, 008H Snapdragons in Diamond, 838D Vertical Happy Easter.
Other Miscellaneous: Spellbinder Border Bracket, Sue Wilson Die, Ribbon, Foam Tape-3M.
Yes, I used my plaid stamp again! I guess you can see that I really like it!! I love the purple and green color combo, it looks so springy and Eastery.  May I tell you that is was one of my mom's favorite color combos...she even did her kitchen in these colors (that would have been the late 60's). I remember at the time thinking she must be nuts, I was a young teen...doe that explain everything.
My Greeting is stamped on a separate panel and placed inside the card.  I cut away the front with the Bracket border die so that you can still see the sentiment when the card is closed. I actually made my background first (a few days ago) and because it turned out with such a great diamond shaped plaid, I found this wonderful flower stamp already in a diamond to go with it! The SW die is perfect for this stamp as a frame.  I hope this inspires you to get those stamps out and try something different; maybe a different color combo than you are used to or different stamps together, whatever floats your boat!
Have a fun, inspired weekend!
