To the Moon

Good morning and Happy Valentine's Day!!!
I've used an unlikely image today from DRS to make my Valentine a card...he will love it!
DRS stamps used: 086L Cranes & 580D Love You to the Moon
I made my cranes into Great Blue Herons, something we have around where we live.  They usally hunt fish, frogs, small pond animals but you will also see them in the fields hunting gophers! Yup, they are as good as a cat!
I made a big moon behind them just rising and used some white pen to make some shine ripples in the water.  My background is just ink sprayed on a kraft sheet (or foil) and water sprayed on top of that, then drag my paper through it. I stamped the sentiment on top after it was completely dry and embossed with black powder.
This makes a fantastic guy card especially for the outdoorsman (like my hubby).
I hope you have a wonderful day today and do something special for that someone special in your life or something special for yourself!  Go create!
Thanks for stopping by!

Wow! How pretty those colors are in your background sky! And sometimes we see blue herons too, but I never knew they could hunt like that! Gorgeous card share today :)
