Happy New Year!

I don't know about you, but while I had a wonderful holiday season I'm kind of glad it's over now and life can get back to "normal".  Not that I know what normal is :)  If you're a stamper it means moving on to the next holiday which for me is Valentine's Day.  And luckily we have several new Valentine stamps to play with!

One of my favorite new Valentine stamps is our new Love Meter stamp!  For my card today - which ends up being 3 1/2" x 8 1/2" I started by stamping the gauge without the pointer 3 times using black ink and then our new Fill Up on Love Greeting in red.  I stamped the pointer several times on a separate piece of card stock and after coloring them with a red marker I fussy cut them and glued them on as shown.   For the background I repeatedly stamped out new Heart Drops stamp across the card stock and colored them in red.  Easy Peasy right?

Thanks for dropping by today!

Sue

PS - Have you entered our weekly challenge yet?  You have until 6pm tonight to link a card using a stencil for a chance to win a $10.00 store voucher!!!  Good Luck!

Love the cleverness you displayed on this long and skinny card! Love how you change the dial to resemble "filling up! "
