Still, Silent, Snowy Night

>> Saturday, November 8, 2014

Good Saturday morning to you all!  Doesn't this look like they are cozy warm inside on a cold snowy night?  And, it's Christmas eve, the kids are all in bed waiting for Christmas morning like it may never come because they are so excited they can't sleep a wink!
DRS stamps used: Starry night background 124H, Lovely Gift Sentiment 235G (new release), Christmas Village Cabin 212G (new release).
I have several torn layers of white to make my snowdrifts, each being lined with Stickles glitter.  My house was partially cut out so that the roof line and tip of the tall tree would be against the skyline.  The roof has white Liquid Pearls and Stickles on it.  My sky is just blue paper stamped with the starry background in White Unicorn pigment ink.   I put some Stickles in the center of each star.  The ribbon is actually sheer white, I'm not sure why it looks ecru in this photo.
This cabin is one of my favorite new stamps by DRS.  My husband and I are both into rustic and we LOVE the snow. The inside of my house is mostly knotty pine tongue and groove with big hand pealed log beams.  Next best thing to a log house.
Have a wonderful weekend!! Get crafting!
