Happy Friday!
I hope your week has gone well and all the little kiddos are getting ready to go trick or treating! Since tomorrow is November 1st, time to get all the Thanksgiving cards ready. We've already been showing y'all the new Thanksgiving images, so for my card today, I'm using one from last year. I think this is very cool turkey and I love giving him a colorful tail. From the wild turkeys we have coming through our yard all the time, I can attest that they are nowhere near this colorful.

My background is distress inks smashed on a teflon craft sheet, spritzed with water, then I tapped a piece of water color paper all over it. I didn't really press it in, just lightly tapped it here & there, then let it dry. Then I'd do the same w/ another color of ink and so on until it I liked the way it looked. When it was completely dry (I used a heat gun because I'm too impatient to watch ink dry), I stamped the leaf image on top then edged it with a couple of brown Copics. I added a couple of cut out leaves & acorn on top. I had a dark brown scallop circle frame and a gold circle frame left over so I glued them together, cut them in half and inserted the opposite corners of my image inside. I just kind of liked the way they sort of imitate the ruffle of the turkey's tail.

The finished card is 5.50 x 4.25 and these are the Copics I used on the turkey.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a fun Halloween! And be sure to check out the DRS Thursday Challenge...this week the theme is Any Autumn Holiday!
