Friendship Quilt

>> Tuesday, October 21, 2014

Hi Everyone,

I'm pleased to show you my most recent card made with using the Designer Quilt Square.  I started by stamping some squares on white paper and then coloring them with a red & pink Copic marker.  After fussy cutting them, I decided they looked a bit plain, so I embellished them with stripes and dots.

Wanting to pair it with the new Good Friend Warm Quilt Greeting, I chose an embossed heart background and decided I needed a few extra hearts.  I colored and cut out the hearts from the
Heart Swag Snowman stamp, and added them to the centers of my quilt squares.

The greeting was die cut and attached with dimensional foam dots and I added lace, twine and a red flower shaped gem to finish it off.

Thanks for visiting us here at the DRS Designs blog, and click here to check out the current color challenge!
