If the shoe fits...

>> Monday, September 8, 2014

Hi everyone. Trust you had a wonderful weekend and found some time to get creative with your stamps. Today I have another Halloween card to share with you. It also goes along with this week's Hot Trends Challenge to use Sequins and gems on your card.

I started by stamping the two background panels with the argyle background in VersaMark ink on orange and purple CS. These were layered onto the black card base. Next I added the two punched spider web borders in black. The main image was stamped on white CS, colored with Copics, die cut and sponged with Pumpkin Pie ink all along the edges. The sentiment was stamped with black ink, die cut and sponged with VersaColor lavendar ink along the edges. The witch's hat was stamped, colored with Copics, fussy cut and attached above the sentiment with some pop dots. The orange sequins finish it off.

We'd love to see what you create using sequins or gems or both. You could be the winner of some great new stamps! You can see details here.

Thanks for stopping by today!
