Creepy Halloween

>> Wednesday, September 3, 2014

Welcome!

I can't begin to tell you how happy I am that it's finally September!  I guess I'm just happy that August's over - it must have been the craziest month of my life!

I celebrated the ending of August by sitting myself down at my stamping desk last night and had a wonderful time pulling out my Halloween stamps - new and old!

I started my card by stamping our new Crow on a Branch stamp and our Creepy Branch stamp using black dye ink.  I sponged on Turquoise, Lavender and Ultramarine inks and then colored in the tree branch brown and layered it on black.  For the sentiment I stamped our new Bump into Me Halloween Saying on white using ultramarine ink and added the spider web in the background using black ink that I stamped off twice.  When I added the saying onto the top of my crow layer I noticed it was overlapping the branch just a bit so I was able to cut around the branch using a blade and put it on top the sentiment.  Everything was then attached to a purple layer and then finally to a folded black card.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Have you entered our weekly challenge yet?  You have until 6pm to link anything creepy to be entered to win!!!  Good Luck!
