Stained Glass Make n Take

Welcome Stampers!

Guess what's going on in Cincinnati Ohio this coming weekend?  Did you guess a stamp show?  You're right!!!  If you'll be anywhere in the area you should make it a point to stop by!  To tease you a little I've got a couple of cards to show you here that we'll be working on Friday night at our booth :)

I'll be doing a quick make and take using one of our Stained Glass Stamps - it's and easy no color version!

The basics of my 3 cards are the same.  Using a small brayer added 3 different ink colors, stamped the Stained Glass stamp on top using black ink, and then added my focal image on top of the stained glass using the same black ink.

These are the 3 cards I whipped up last night...

#1  Stained Glass Butterfly - I fussy cut around the stained glass and Butterfly and layered it with an embossed background.

#2  Thinking of You -  I used the Silhouette Tree image to add a line of trees in the background then used a couple of nesties to die cut my ovals and added the Thinking of You sentiment

#3 Miracle Leaves - The real fun of this card is that I stamped the Miracle sentiment on clear acetate and when that didn't show up enough, I used my metallic paint markers on the backside of the acetate to outline the letters...

To attach the acetate I added a little glue to 2 corners and then covered the glue with the leaves.

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope to see you in Cincinnati this weekend!!!!
