Autumn Apples

>> Tuesday, August 12, 2014

Hi All,

It's hard to believe that summer is winding down, the time always goes too fast for me!  While I look forward to all the things that fall holds, (crisp air, pumpkins, apples, wearing sweaters, etc.) I think that it doesn't last long enough either :)

So to slowly usher in the thought of moving to another season, I'm sharing an autumnal card today.  I thought I'd feature a couple of those favorite things I mentioned above.  Since it give a fabric like look when you stamp with it,  I used the Woven Plaid stamp for my background, just to give a nod to those warm sweaters I love. And nothing says fall more than a juicy apple! The Apple Trio all colored up and fussy cut looks good enough to eat!

I stamped a strip of Open Plaid and added it along one side, and the Small Autumn Greetings, which I circle punched, serves as my sentiment.  I also added a metal tab to the corner for another bit of red embellishment on the card.

Hope you enjoy your day!
Karin
