Merry Monday!

>> Monday, July 21, 2014

Hi Everyone. Today I have another Christmas in July card to share with you that features the Village bridge and pond image. These new Village stamps are so fun to play with!

I started by stamping the image with Memento Black ink on white CS, coloring it with Copics and making the pond freeze by using some Glossy Accents. Once that dried I added some stickles around the snow banks. The two little guys skating across the pond were stamped, colored, fussy cut and added with glue dots. The card base was created with Recollections Jewel CS in Green. I added a layer of white that was embossed with a Darice snow swirls folder. I used the largest SB die to create the green ornament. The sentiment was stamped with Stazon Black ink onto the vellum. The ends were cut and some snowflake buttons were added to hide the glue dots that hold it onto the card front.

Be sure to check out this week's color challenge and the new Christmas Village Stamps at DRS Designs.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Until next time,
shelia
