Cookies for Santa

>> Monday, July 28, 2014

In keeping with this month's theme of Christmas in July I have a Cookies for Santa card to share with you today. It features our Gingerbread Boy and the Magic of Christmas Day greeting.

I started by stamping the greeting in Memento Cocoa ink on cream CS, then embossing it with a CB snowflake folder. After attaching it to some Chocolate Chip CS, the three pieces of ribbon were added. I purchased these ribbons and the gingerbread boy button at JoAnns a year or so ago in their dollar bin. You can't beat that deal! The Gingerbread Boy was stamped in Memento Cocoa ink, colored with Copics, fussy cut and attached with pop dots for some dimension. A couple of strips of Chocolate Chip CS were punched with a MS snowflake border punch and added to the cream card base before the main image panel. And that completes the card. Hope you like it.

This week's challenge is "Inchies." We'd love to see what you can created using inchies on your card. You can see details here. Hope you can find some time to join the fun.

Until next time,
shelia
