Magnificent Birthday!

>> Saturday, May 31, 2014

Hello everyone!!!  Robin here and this is my first post for DRS Designs and I'm happy to be on board.  The ladies have been so very kind, I love them already!

This is the type of birthday card I would send to my sister!! We have a standing joke between us, something about when pigs fly but that is a whole other story!!  I thought this little pig needed to be popped up so I made a cute pop up card.  It fold flat then when it opens it looks like the bottom photo.  It also stands open for display.

Pop ups are quite easy as you really only need slits in the inside card to fold out into a mountain while the rest folds into a valley.  I have some fancy cuts here but any two parallel  cuts will do and multiples are fine (such as a forest of trees that you might want to pop out).

Today I have used DRS stamps: 014G-Magnificent, 081G-Leonard behind bubble and 722E-Hogwash. I used miscellaneous embossing folders, ribbon, Brilliance ink and dies as well.   Copic Markers for coloring.  Mister Leonard the pig behind the bubble is in the new release which you will want to buy I'm sure because  his bubble is very fun to color!!
