He has Risen!

>> Monday, March 17, 2014

Today my Easter card features two recently released stamps from DRS Designs; Three Wooden Crosses and He has Risen sentiment as well as the Oval Stained Glass.

I started by stamping the 3 wooden crosses on white CS with Memento black ink and colored them with Copic markers. Next I stamped the Oval Stained Glass onto Vellum with Stazon ink and colored the back with the lightest colored Copics in my collection. The pale purple CS was stamped with the sentiment in Memento Black ink, embossed with the Swiss dots folder and then an oval was cut out with a Nestie die. Everything was layered together on the white card base and a sheer purple bow finishes the look.

We'd love to have you join this week's challenge to use an egg on your card. You can see details here.

Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great St. Patrick's Day!

Until next time,
shelia
