Top o' the Morning

>> Monday, February 10, 2014

Hi Everyone. Today I have a St. Patrick's Day card that features the new Leprechaun Gold Guard stamp. Isn't he a fun looking Leprechaun? I certainly had fun coloring him and his pot of gold!

I started by stamping the image in Memento Black, coloring it with my Copics, sponging some sky and ground, and then adding some gold sparkle with a Sakura Gelly roll pen. The image is layered on Old Olive CS which is attached to a white card base. The So Saffron panel was die cut with a nestie after stamping the Shamrock Vine Corner in Old Olive ink. After attaching it, some punched shamrocks and rhinestones were added to the opposite corners. The greeting was stamped in Memento Black on white CS, die cut with a banner die and sponged with Old Olive ink while still in the die.

This week's challenge at DRS Designs is Feelin' Green. You do not have to create a St. Patrick's day card, just use green. We'd love to have you join in the fun. You can see details here.

Thanks for stopping by today. And I hope you are having a good morning!!

Until next time,
shelia
