Checks and Flowers

>> Sunday, February 23, 2014

Hello all,, today a have a birthday card to share with you.I'm trying to work ahead and have my birthday cards ready when I need them.

I started this card by stamping the Checkerboard Background with firebrick red Distress Ink and trimmed them down to make a border across the top and bottom. Then I stamped the Medium Daisy Bloom colored it with copic markers and fussy cut them. These were layered on to white squares and the black. I stamped the Tiny Happy Birthday and use a oval die to cut it out then stamped part of the Polka Dot Flower Trio on the side going off the edge.

Have a wonderful day,

Janett

Janett, I love your bright red daisies with the checkerboard background! This card gives me a feeling of warmth which is really good considering how cold it's been! And it's suppose to get colder this weekend!
