Thoughts, Prayers and Love

>> Saturday, January 4, 2014

I tend to make happy, whimsical cards, so I think sympathy cards are the hardest to make.

I made one for today's post.  Here's how I did it...

I sponged the following inks onto a piece of Neenah Solar White paper to make the sky:  SeaShells Conch Shell dye, Distress Ink Wild Honey dye, Adirondack Sunset Orange dye, Distress Ink Tumbled Glass dye and Color Box Prussian Blue chalk.

Below the sky I drew in the ocean water with Copic markers.

The sand was made with a combination of Copic markers and the sponging of Memento Desert Sand dye and Brilliance Pearlescent pigment inks.

I stamped the DRS Designs image of "Sea Grass" Versafine Onyx Black.  The DRS Designs sentiment "Thoughts Prayers and Love".

Thanks so much for visiting the DRS Designs blog today.  We sure do appreciate you sharing part of your weekend with us.

Saturday smiles,
Kecia
