Happy Friday!
I hope your first week of the new year has gone well! 2014!!?? Can you believe it? I can't. I still remember when I was a kid and how a year seemed FA-EH-VA long. And how I thought if I could just make it to 16 so I could get a driver's license, I'd have it made. It's good to have goals, dontcha think? Now a year is one big blur as it blows past me. It may be time to set my sights a bit higher, lol.

My goal for this week was to come up with a card using this cute little stinker. I've never had an up close and personal experience with a skunk, but I've heard if you do, just burn your clothes. They will not survive, lol. I'm thinking at least this little guy can't hurt anyone so on a card is probably the best place for him to be. After stamping I colored it with Copics and die cut a frame around him. Added a couple of little clouds, a big flower and stamped the greeting on the edge of the frame. The wall looking piece was a leftover that had been embossed and colored w/ lt gray & black markers. I just thought it was a good contrast with the framed image. The finished card is 5.50 x 4.25 and these are the Copics I used.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

Stinking cute...I like that! And it's so true! I love all the contrast going on - especially the bright colors popping out from all the white :)
