Birthday Wishes

>> Monday, January 6, 2014

Today I have a birthday card to share with you. You can never have too many birthday cards on hand!!

I started with a white card base, then added a layer of Pretty in Pink CS that was stamped with the Interlocking flower background stamp in VersaMark ink. I used my Sakura Gelly Roll stardust pen to add some shimmer to the center of the flowers. A piece of sheer pink ribbon was added to the right side before attaching this panel to the base. The Girly Swirly Birthday Cake was stamped with Memento Black ink on white CS, colored with Copics and die cut with a nestie. I added some VersaFine Petal pink ink while the image was still in the die. The same Gelly Roll pen was used to add some shimmer to the candles and cake. The Happy Birthday is part of the Multi Birthday greeting. I used my Memento Black pen to ink up just the one portion of the stamp, stamped it on white CS and then die cut it. The same pink ink was sponged on while still in the die. I really like the soft shimmer on this. Hope you do too.

This week's challenge is "Seeing Spots."  Let's see what you can create using spots, dots and circles!

Thanks for stopping by today.

Until next time,
shelia
