Twin Gingerbread

Hi Everyone,
My mind is in holiday mode right now.  I sent out my Thanksgiving invitations yesterday, and now I'm thinking Christmas cards.  I'm no where near where I should be in terms of being done making them,  so if you are in my same boat, here is a card to get your mojo flowing.
I used the traditional red and green colors of the Christmas season for today's offering.  The background paper was made using the Open Plaid stamped at an angle; this gives a nod to all those peppermint sticks that are popular at this time of the year.  For the sentiment I used the 
Merry Christmas Recipe Greeting and die cut it using a rectangular Spellbinders die. 

I thought since it was a recipe, I would embellish it with twin Gingerbread Boys, which I stamped, fussy cut and colored with Copic markers.  A white gel pen was used to create the frosting zig zags, and I finished it with a die cut piece of ric rac and plastic candy :)

Hmmm...Now I've got cookies on the brain...lol! Well, I can't get ahead of myself.  I need to get rid of my extra Halloween candy first.  And speaking of Halloween, that's the theme of our
